Your Part

Dad and SonEqual Sacrifice, Not Equal Gifts

The need for all of us to be involved becomes evident when we begin to think about what it will take to purchase and remodel the campus for maximum ministry impact. This project is far too great for just a few families to undertake. We are going to need the commitment and support of every person in order to achieve the ultimate goal for the SVA campus.

You’ve seen the need, the opportunity, the potential and we have shown you how we can come together to complete the journey. Now it is everyone’s turn to make an investment in our church and community that has the potential to change even more lives in the Snoqualmie Valley and the world.

How to Make Your Commitment:

A Building Faith commitment card is available to download below and cash gift envelopes are available at the Spring Glen campus throughout the campaign. After praying about your part in the Building Faith campaign, follow these steps to make your commitment:

  1. Determine God’s Will
Determine the commitment that God is leading you to make during the Building Faith campaign by meeting as a family (if applicable) or with an accountability partner. Follow the “Family Conference Guide” pdf Click here to download the Family Conference Guide - 300.07 Kb or at the Building Faith kiosk throughout the campaign.

  2. Fill Out Your Commitment Card (pdf Click here for PDF version - 154.30 Kb)
Write down the amount of your commitment that you will be able to give as your initial cash gift offering. Then, using the chart below and on the back of your printed commitment card write down the amount you can commit in faith to give during the next 36 months, November 2007 - November 2010. Also list any gift of asset(s) that you are being led to give.

  3. If 350 people gave...Bring your card Sunday November 18
As an act of worship and faith, bring your commitment card on Commitment Sunday November 18, 2007. If you cannot attend that day, please mail or bring your commitment card to the office or church by Friday November 16, so that it may be included on Commitment Sunday.

Three Ways To Give:

  1. Give A Cash Gift
Ask God for creative ways to increase your gift. You might consider income from savings, tax refunds, garage sales, inheritance, bonuses…or think of ways to reduce expenses, give up one meal a week, that extra mocha, or weekend getaway. Look in the Family Conference Guide to discover creative ways to increase your cash gift. Involve your whole family in raising a specific amount and give as much of your three year commitment as possible up front as an act of faith on November 18, 2007.

  2. Every little bit matters!Give A Gift of Assets
You can give real estate, stocks, bonds, coins, old cars, boats, etc. This is a valuable way to leverage your giving to the direct work of the ministry and take full advantage of the available tax benefits the government allows. Please call Pastor Marty at 425-831-4590 for details.

  3. Make a 36-Month Commitment
You can give a lot more when it’s spread out over time. The Bible teaches that your faith and spiritual maturity develops through the habit of consistent, weekly giving. If you have committed to a monthly car, mortgage or rental payment, certainly you can make a giving commitment to God! Online giving is available.
